We flew from Guam to Manila and spent two days sightseeing Manila before flying out to Bangkok. We
took a limousine to the Marriott Orchid. Our hotel was located along the
Chao Phya River. Our room had an impressive view of the city and movement along the river. We enjoyed seeing the dinner cruises every night while enjoying a class of wine. We will never forget the smells of Bangkok. There is a mixture of smells coming from the river, the food cooked by vendors on the street, incense and candles in the temples, and from the trees and flowers.
